Why “Jake”?

Jake was the first AI agent Ricky ever built. Watching Jake work — handling real tasks, hour after hour, without dropping a single one — made the potential obvious: every small business drowning in calls, messages, and busywork could have a Jake of its own. The company is named after that first agent, and building practical, dependable AI workers for real businesses has been the mission since.

Jake's AI Solutions is run by Ricky Hernandez — a U.S. Army veteran and licensed massage therapist in Texas with 7+ years running his own appointment-based service business. The receptionist platform started as a fix for a problem he lived daily: every missed call is a client who books somewhere else. Every deployment is set up hand-in-hand with the owner — your services, your policies, your voice — and tested together before it ever answers a real client.
